Oliver Jeffers is one of my favourite children’s authors and “A child of books” is another example of why I love his writing and illustrations. “A child of books” is a collaboration between Oliver Jeffers and Sam Winston. It is a really simple book about the adventure you can go on through reading stories from travelling across the seas to climbing mountains. The illustration are works of art with Oliver Jeffers recognisable handwriting.

This book is a real celebration of children’s books and where a good book can take children in their imagination. I particularly love the essences of this book because I really believe that childhood should be filled with adventures, in reality and in their imagination.

Lovely book for any age! xx
