Here is another idea that combines collecting autumn leaves and using them to make beautiful pieces of art work!
Need: oil pastel or crayons, paint, paper, cotton buds and/or cocktail sticks, autumn leaves.
The children first covered their piece of paper with oil pastels (but could use crayons). We used autumn colours.
They then covered their paper with paint.
While the paint is still wet, we used cotton buds and cocktail sticks to draw around leaves and add leaf details.
This idea was taken from the wonderful blog by Artful parent!
We also used this idea to make firework pictures too.
Happy creating everyone! xx
