Egyptian collars!

One of the children I look after school is learning about the Egyptian’s at school. So we did this quick after school activity.

Need: Paper plates, string/wool, pens, hole punch (but could use scissors), optional: extra bits to decorate (we used glitter glue and stickers).

I simply prepared paper plates as shown in the photo below. I put holes in the half paper plate collar.

I then invited the children to decorate the plates! They used pens, glitter glue and stickers. Once the glitter glue was dry I threaded wool through the holes so it was ready to wear! I think they look great!
