“My Mum is a Supermum” by Angela McAllister and Alex T. Smith is a lovely picture book for all children and especially those superhero fans. The story is about a boy called Milo. He is not sure his Mum was quite the same as all the other ordinary Mum’s. Could his Mum be a superhero? How does she always know what he is up to? After some investigation, Milo decides she is a real superhero with X-ray visions! Great humourous read! On each page there is lots to look at, the illustrations really add to the humour of the story and the children particularly love the ‘evidence reports’ at the beginning and end of the book. Great book! Xx
