Four rainbow crafts!

Here are four rainbow craft ideas!

Hanging rainbow

Need: Cardboard, string, paint, glitter, beads, hole punch.

The older children drew and cut out their own rainbow, for the younger children I prepared the shape for them. They painted a rainbow and add glitter to the wet paint. When the paint was dry we added a piece of string to the top which the children threaded with beads.

3D rainbow heart

Need: Cardboard, rainbow colour thin pieces of paper, glue or double sided tape.

I invite children to attach stripes of paper to the heart. We talked about the different things we could do with the paper, could we fold it? twist it? make zigzags?

Rainbow

Need: paper, paint, plastic card (e.g. credit card).

I put a line of paint onto their paper and the children used a plastic card to spread the paint and see the beautiful art they could make! The children loved seeing the rainbows appear!
