“Don’t let the Pigeon drive the bus!” by Mo Williems is fabulous book which we love and it makes us laugh every time we read it! The book begins with the bus driver asking us the reader to make sure the pigeon doesn’t drive the bus while he is gone for a little while. The pigeon desperately wants to drive the bus and tries to persuade us to let him! We have great fun with this book, as the children have become very familiar with the story, we all get into character, I am the pigeon and the children respond to what I say and ask……..!
At the library, we found “Don’t let the pigeon stay up late” which the children equally enjoyed!
Last year, we went to see the theatre production of “Don’t let the Pigeon drive the bus!” at Half moon theatre. It was so well done, Tom thought it was hilarious! If you get a chance to go, I highly recommend it!
Happy reading! xx
