Children just love this simple idea of the dot to dot challenge, since introducing it to them, they have asked to do it again and set it up for themselves independently.
This idea was taken from Meri Cherry’s fabulous blog, for full details click here.
This is how we did it!
Need: Paint (at least three colours), paint brush for each colour, paper, masking tape, tray (optional).
I set up the challenge by taping a piece of paper to a tray, creating a boarder which looks great when it is dry. I then squeezed drops of paint onto the paper. I then explained the challenge to the children: Cover the paper with colour without letting two colours mix. They can go close to the other colours but not touch, only the same colours can touch (kiss because they love each other!). When it is dry, remove the tape and display their wonderful pieces of art!
Happy painting xx
