Cardboard Christmas decoration!

2015-12-17 12.24.11

Have you got lots of boxes filling your recycling bin? Why not turn them into simple decoration? Even the very young children can make their marks on their shape and they look fantastic!

Need: cardboard, pens (we used chalk pens), optional: needle and thread (I used a needle to thread string through the top so they could be hang on the thread).

I prepared the cardboard by cutting out different shapes – snow globe, stars, trees and baubles. I also at this point threaded a string so it could be hang straight after the children worked their magic! I then invited the children to decorate their shapes and finally we hang them on the tree!

Happy Christmas making! xxx
