Delicious strawberry milkshake cupcakes!

We love these cupcakes! Great to make with the kids. The recipe is based on a recipe from “Tea & cake with Lisa Faulkner”.

Ingredients:

150g butter (softened)

150g Nesquik strawberry milk powder

2 eggs

150g self-raising flour

2 tablespoons milk

A little red or pink food colouring

For the icing:

150g butter (softened)

250g icing sugar

Pink or red food colouring

75g Nesquik strawberry milk powder

25ml milk

Method:

  • Preheat the oven 180 OC and prepare cupcakes cases in tin.
  • Mix all the ingredients together (either by hand or in cake mixer)
  • Divide batter into the cake cases.
  • Place in the oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden on the top.
  • Remove and leave to cool on wire rack.
  • Make icing by mixing all the ingredients together (either by hand or in cake mixer)
  • Add icing to the tops of the cupcakes.
  • Then enjoy!!!
