“I let you go” a real page turner!

As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago I love cooking and reading, and they are two things I just don’t seem to get around to – so I am really trying to make time for them and put them as a priority, hence I have already been sharing some recipes and now I have reached the end of my first read since I decided to make time to do so, here is my first book share for adults!

When it comes to reading I can slip into the habit of just reading chicklit type books – pretty covers, easy to read! I do enjoy these books but I do like to push myself slightly though no hard-core reading for me. Anyway after researching a little I chose “I let you go” by Claire MacKinosh, not sure what drew me to it but I do look at book reviews/charts and tend to base my choice on that.

The story is about a women who called Jenna who tries to escape from her horrific life by moving to a remote cottage in Wales, however her past does end up catching up with her! I really don’t want to say too much about this story because I would hate to spoil it for anyone who decides to read it, the story has twists and turns and some truly awful… tragic…. horrendous moments in it….. if you enjoyed “Gone girl” and “The girl on the train” this is a book for you. It is a well written book that made me cry and smile at different points in the story. I recommend this books, it is definitely a page turner than I couldn’t put down!

Happy reading friends! What are you reading? xxx
